We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure Specialist to lead and manage scalable infrastructure and container-based environments. This role focuses on Kubernetes orchestration , automation , and maintaining secure, reliable, and efficient platform services. Youll play a critical role in evolving infrastructure systems using modern DevOps practices, and driving the adoption of containerization and cloud-native technologies across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for OS image creation.Independently create, manage, and deploy hypervisor templates.Manage and scale the Vanderlande Container Platform across test, acceptance, and production environments.
Administer and optimize 150+ downstream Kubernetes clusters , ensuring performance, reliability, and uptime.
Improve solutions related to container platforms , edge computing , and virtualization .
Lead the transition from VMware OVAs to a Kubernetes-based virtualization architecture, incorporating insights from Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives.
Focus on platform automation , using Infrastructure as Code to minimize manual tasks.
Ensure security hardening and compliance for all infrastructure components.
Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to drive container adoption and lifecycle management. Required Qualifications &
Skills:
8+ years of infrastructure engineering experience. Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, deployment, and management.
Strong background in Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
CI/CD development experience (GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.).Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM). Key Skills (Core):
