Sr. Informatica IDQ Developer

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement data quality solutions using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) version 9.6.1 or above. Utilize both the IDQ Developer and IDQ Analyst interfaces to build and manage data quality projects, including profiling, cleansing, standardization, and matching rules. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data quality requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications. Perform comprehensive data profiling to identify data quality issues and propose solutions. Develop and implement data standardization rules to ensure data consistency and accuracy. Create and manage scorecards to monitor and report on data quality metrics. Develop and optimize SQL scripts and stored procedures for various RDBMS platforms, including SQL Server and Oracle. Write and maintain Unix scripts for automation and data processing tasks. Work closely with data architects, ETL developers, and business analysts to ensure seamless integration of data quality solutions within the overall data landscape. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members (if applicable). Stay up-to-date with the latest Informatica IDQ features and industry best practices in data quality. Required Skills & Experience: 2-5 years of mandatory hands-on experience as an Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Developer, with experience in version 9.6.1 or above. Proven experience in developing IDQ projects using both the IDQ Developer and IDQ Analyst interface. Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (e.g., Kimball methodology, star schema, snowflake schema). Strong experience with RDBMS platforms such as SQL Server and Oracle, including extensive experience with SQL scripting and Stored Procedures. Proficient in understanding business requirements and producing clear, concise technical requirements specifications. Hands-on experience in Data Profiling, Scorecards, and Data Standardization. Experience with Unix scripting for automation and data manipulation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Experience with other Informatica products (e.g., PowerCenter, MDM). Knowledge of data governance principles. Experience in an Agile development environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
