Sr. HVAC/Plumbing Design Engineer

You will be joining Aerocraft Engineering India Pvt Ltd, a company based in Ahmedabad that provides services to US-based Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firms. Your role as a Mechanical Engineer will involve designing HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems for various projects. You will be responsible for managing engineering projects of different sizes and complexities throughout the project life cycle, including coordination with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, and electrical teams. Your designs will encompass calculations, analysis, specifications, and drawings required in the US construction industry. **Responsibilities:** - Design HVAC/Plumbing systems and detailed construction document drawing sets for US projects. - Collaborate with architectural, structural, electrical, and process teams in real-time to develop designs. - Design various systems including central plants, air handling units, pumping systems, temperature control systems, piping systems, ductwork systems, and more. - Conduct design calculations for internal plumbing systems and relevant drainage systems based on standards and codes. - Survey existing systems for documentation and condition assessment. - Review project files for compliance with standards and protocols. - Develop diagrams and construction documents. - Apply local codes and standards to project designs. - Ensure quality standards and checklists are followed for every project. **Skills Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an Accredited University. - Minimum of 3 years of experience. - Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software. - Knowledge of HVAC systems. - Familiarity with US Plumbing design codes and standards.
