Sr. HVAC/Plumbing Design Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining Aerocraft Engineering India Pvt Ltd as a Mechanical Engineer in Ahmedabad, India office. Your primary responsibility will be to design HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems for various projects. You will be managing engineering projects of different sizes and complexity throughout their life cycle, coordinating with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, and electrical. Key Responsibilities: - Design HVAC/Plumbing systems and create detailed construction document drawing sets for US Projects. - Collaborate with other disciplines to develop designs in real-time. - Design central plants, piping systems, ductwork systems, and various HVAC components. - Perform internal plumbing system design including relevant calculations as per standards and codes. - Survey existing systems for documentation and condition assessment. - Review project files and manufacturers" drawings for compliance with standards. - Develop One Line and Protection One Line Diagrams, as well as Construction Documents. - Apply local codes and standards to project designs. - Meet tight deadlines and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Coordinate and monitor shop drawings submission schedule. - Ensure adherence to quality standards and checklists for every project. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an Accredited University. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. - Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software. - Knowledge of HVAC systems and US Plumbing design codes and standards.
