Job Description

Role Overview: As a member of the hardware group at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in designing, testing, and troubleshooting circuits for various electrical equipment. Your work will involve selecting and assessing the reliability of electronic components, maintaining product documentation, and collaborating with other engineers to meet customer/system requirements. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to prototype electronic circuits, review electrical documentation, perform failure analysis, and assist other team members and project teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design, test, and troubleshoot circuits such as Processors, Wifi Radios for electrical equipment - Select and assess the reliability of electronic components - Maintain product documentation - Collaborate with Application, Software, and Electronic Engineers to meet hardware design requirements - Prototype electronic circuits and document measurements - Review and approve electrical documentation (schematics, assembly drawings, etc.) - Perform failure analysis of electronic circuits and issue reports with improvement recommendations - Assist other members of the hardware group and project teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with over 12 years of working experience in the industry - Minimum of 10 years of successful hardware design experience - Solid understanding of the hardware product design lifecycle process - Experience with RF, Wireless, or digital communication circuits - Knowledge of transmitters, Receivers, RF concepts, and Antennas - Familiarity with compliance and regulations (CE, ETSI, ANSI, FCC, ANATEL, NORM) - Ability to debug hardware design during certification tests - Proficiency in circuit schematic capture, layout, and simulation software Additional Company Details: Nokia is dedicated to innovation and technology leadership in mobile, fixed, and cloud networks.
