The Lead Game Mathematician role is vital to our success, driving the mathematical foundation of our games and ensuring they are both engaging and fair. What Youll Do

Translate game logic into detailed math models, ensuring they align with game design.
Document game logic and rules accurately for use by game designers and developers.
Collaborate with prototypers and engineers to resolve analytics discrepancies.
Develop and validate math models and simulations for Aristocrat slot games across multiple channels (Android, iOS, Facebook).
Assist the team in overcoming roadblocks by providing in-depth understanding of game math and design.
Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of games by contributing solutions to math-related challenges.
Maintain and build well-documented Excel math models and programs in C/C++/C#.
Communicate effectively with game designers and engineers to align on project requirements and outcomes.
Share knowledge and document processes to support continuous improvement and learning within the team.
Build technical documents and flow charts to illustrate complex mathematical concepts clearly.

What Were Looking For

3+ years of experience in game mathematics or a similar role.
Proficiency in Excel and ability to detail math models accurately.
Expertise in C/C++/C# or a similar object-oriented programming language.
Strong knowledge in Combinatorics, Probability Theory, and Statistics.
Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding written communication skills.
Ability to build maintainable programs and well-documented math models.
Experience in crafting technical documents and flow charts.
Demonstrated capability in effectively communicating intricate concepts with both technical and non-technical collaborators.
Ambitious approach with a drive to compete and excel in a fast-paced environment.
