Role Overview: As a Senior Fashion Designer for a leading Fashion Brand in Gurugram, your role will involve leading the design process for western wear, focusing on evening gowns, draped silhouettes, and structured occasion wear. Your creativity and expertise will be crucial in developing seasonal collections, visualizing form and fabric flow through draping techniques, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure designs are brought to life on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the end-to-end design process for western wear, emphasizing evening gowns and occasion wear. - Develop seasonal collections aligned with the brand's identity and commercial strategy. - Execute draping techniques for form visualization, with a focus on innovation and elegance. - Research trends, fabrics, colors, and trims for the target market. - Collaborate with the sampling team for pattern development and fitting. - Attend fittings, provide technical feedback, and maintain design intent through development. - Work with production and merchandising to meet timelines and cost targets. - Provide creative inputs for styling, campaign shoots, and look books. - Maintain organized design records and mentor junior team members when required. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Fashion Design from a reputed institution. - Hands-on experience in western wear and eveningwear design. - Expertise in draping, cut-and-sew, fabric analysis, and finishing. - Strong portfolio showcasing gowns, cocktail dresses, and modern silhouettes. - Proficiency in garment construction, fit, and technical specifications. - Comfortable collaborating with tailors, masters, and sample makers. - Strong interpersonal, communication, detail-oriented, and multitasking skills.,
