Sr. Extend Services Consultant - Workday Success Plans

Role Overview: As part of the Workday Success Plans Team, your primary focus will be on assisting customers in their post-Go-Live journey with Workday applications. You will engage in various programs and services to help customers drive business value from their Workday applications. Your role involves delivering targeted micro consulting engagements to provide solutions to customers" business needs using the Workday application. You will act as a trusted advisor, troubleshoot configuration issues, provide feature demonstrations, and guide customers through the process. Your expertise in web service technologies and authentication methods will be key in helping customers optimize their Workday solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Guide customers through Workday configuration, offering expert advice and best practices. - Demonstrate Workday capabilities and lead customers towards optimal solutions. - Resolve product configuration challenges and optimize solutions to meet business needs. - Cultivate strong customer relationships through effective communication, presentations, and consultations. - Develop and deliver webinars showcasing Workday's potential for achieving business goals. - Stay current with Workday certifications and product roadmap to champion Workday product expertise. - Engage with customers on relevant topics and contribute to programs driving customer feature adoption. - Deliver various services to Workday Success Plans customers focused on Workday Extend applications. - Conduct appointment-based consulting engagements providing guidance and product expertise to customers. - Perform configuration and business requirements reviews, identifying opportunities for optimization. - Provide one-on-one customer configuration designs and full deployment of Workday features. Qualifications Required: Basic Qualifications: - 2+ years of Extend experience, preferably Workday Extend certified. - 4-6 years of Workday Integrations experience. - Hands-on experience with web services/application types (REST or SOAP). - Familiarity with data formats (JSON, XML). - Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages. - Interest in learning about authentication technologies (OAuth, JWT, etc.). - A problem-solving mindset and a desire to engage with customers and grow professionally. Other Qualifications: - Overall 8+ years of experience in consulting or customer-facing environments. - Certified or ability to certify in Orchestrate for Integrations (O4I). - Ability to distill complex concepts into understandable presentations for customers. - Ability to multitask and work on multiple engagements simultaneously. - Strong critical thinking skills to understand complex technical issues and facilitate decision-making. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
