1) Understand metallurgies and have a sound knowledge of process equipment mfg. processes.

2) Understand shop planning and strive to feed shop to achieve zero down time.

3) Plan daily activities and execute as planned.

4) Manage exigencies.

5) Manage workforce to get optimum productivity.

6) Ensure location control and safe-keeping of material according to metallurgies.

7) Maintain receipt, issue and transfers, SEZ documentation.

8) Ensure material movement with adequate documentation.

9) Analyze, revise and monitor SIC System

10) Cycle time reduction in receipt and issue of materials.

11) Safe Un-loading/Loading of Materials

12) Best in class housekeeping of office, storage & scrap yard.

13) Treatment to inventory as per policy.

14) Plan and implement activities pertaining to various business initiatives like TPM, KAIZEN, PMO, BE

15) Supervision of critical material handling.

16) Knowledge of QMS, OSHAS and EMS systems.

17) Efficient document management and data integrity.

18) Quarterly Stock taking and reconciliation.

19) Ensure excellent service to internal as well as customers.

20) MIS reporting as per schedule.

21) Ensure zero man, machine idle time on shop floor due to store inefficiency.

22) Ensure adherence to legal compliances as applicable.

23) Co-ordinate logistical arrangement of project item and give feedback to all concern.

24) Understand inventory valuation in ERP system.

25) He should have sound knowledge of ERP system
