Sr. Engr Embedded Control Systems (Industrial Machines)

You are being offered a part-time/flexible engagement opportunity as a Senior Consultant with expertise in embedded control systems for industrial machines at BROACHCUTTER, India's leading company for Magnetic Drilling Machines and Annular Cutters. Your role will involve guiding the development of PCB-based control cards for various functions such as Soft Start, Overload Protection, Automatic Feed Control, Motor control, and safety features. Additionally, you will serve as the technical representative with external developers/manufacturers, review designs, firmware, schematics, and ensure compliance with industrial standards. Your input will be crucial in advising on component selection, suppliers, and testing methods. **Key Responsibilities:** - Guide development of PCB control cards for functions like Soft Start, Overload Protection, Automatic Feed Control, Motor control & safety features - Act as the technical representative with external developers/manufacturers - Review designs, firmware, schematics & ensure compliance with industrial standards - Advise on component selection, suppliers, and testing methods **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in electronics/embedded systems/motor control - Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, power electronics, PCB design & firmware - Experience with industrial automation/machine control systems - Familiarity with safety, EMI/EMC standards - Retired professionals or senior experts are welcome If you are a seasoned electronics/embedded expert with the ability to guide and represent the company with developers, this consultancy/retainer/part-time position based in Mumbai (with remote work and periodic visits) and compensation based on experience could be the perfect fit for you.,
