Sr. English Editor (ELT/Project Manager)

As an Editor in this role, your responsibilities will include: - Editing manuscripts submitted by Authors for final production - Delivering projects within agreed schedules - Coordinating with Authors, Illustrators, and Artists to set and enforce deadlines - Evaluating and improvising on manuscripts submitted by Authors - Ensuring participation in training sessions, including presentations and case studies to provide inputs to the sales team with USPs of the books - Working with Directors for proposals of new projects and improvement of current textbooks - Identifying freelance editors and authors The job is located in Pitampura, Delhi with timings from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday. Basic Requirements: - English, M.A. English - Minimum experience of 3 years - Experience in ELT would be an advantage - Senior School teachers are highly preferred - Experience in a publishing house (K-12 segment) will be preferred You should be well aware of the new trends in the publishing industry and familiar with school curriculum.
