Sr Engineer- Windows device driver

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, your role involves designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs to launch cutting-edge products that meet customer needs. You will collaborate with various teams to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs - Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions - Gather information on performance requirements and interfaces Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or PhD in a related field - 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Strong knowledge of Windows Boot flow, Windows OS internals, Windows Driver knowledge (KMDF), ARM Processor architecture, Assembly Language, and more - Experience with PC software, Embedded OS, OS/system performance profiling and optimization techniques - Strong coding skills in C and batch script - Effective communication and negotiation skills with cross-functional working experience Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
