Sr. Engineer-Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer at the company, you will play a crucial role in creating comprehensive documentation for products and software. Your responsibilities will include: - Authoring technical documents in a clear and concise manner - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information for documentation - Ensuring accuracy and consistency in all documentation - Utilizing visualization skills to translate between two- and three-dimensional data views - Managing complex projects and adapting to changing priorities - Demonstrating proficiency in using authoring tools such as XML and DITA - Using software tools like Astoria CMS, Oxygen, InDesign, Windchill, MS Project Online, MS Teams, and Office on a daily basis To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications: - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering from a reputable university - Have at least eight years of technical writing experience - Possess at least two years of experience in plumbing product installation, design, or documentation (preferred) - Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and the ability to read drawings - Be self-motivated, with strong computer aptitude and demonstrated writing skills - Exhibit excellent command of spoken and written English (C1, C2) and good command of spoken and/or written Mandarin (B2) - Be familiar with authoring within a tagged language (XML/DITA) and authoring for reuse - Have experience with InDesign, CAD software, Adobe Illustrator, or similar illustration tools - Be proficient in database use and excel spreadsheets Join the team and contribute your expertise to dynamic and innovative projects.
