Sr Engineer / Staff, Software Full stack Development

As an engineer at Enphase Energy, you will be part of a brand new Digital Transformation platform team. Your main responsibilities will include architecting, designing, and developing a complex software system based on microservices architecture, integrating workflows to provide a seamless user experience to millions of customers using the latest cloud technologies. You will contribute to Enphases success in the Solar Energy domain by developing applications and services for various stakeholders, including homeowners, installers, and customer support. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement scalable, reliable, performant, and secure applications & services in microservices, web services, batch jobs, web applications, data processing, and device integration - Develop software programs using best design patterns, data structures, and algorithms - Implement software engineering processes including clean code, test automations (TDD), monitoring, and performance bench marking - Work in a challenging high-performance environment to provide state-of-the-art solutions through design and code - Debug complex applications and provide durable fixes - Work on other application platforms using React and Node.js - Deliver feature changes and functional additions that handle millions of requests per day while meeting quality and schedule targets **Qualifications Required:** - B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a top-tier college with over 70% marks - 4+ years of solid software development experience in cloud-based applications - Excellent JavaScript/Node.js programming skills with effective use of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms - Proficiency in React/Redux, HTML, and CSS - Experience in microservices and API development using Express.js, REST principles, and cloud design patterns - Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB - Understanding of protocols and concepts like HTTP, MQTT, SSL, oAuth, SAML - Proficient in working with tools like GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, automated tests (jUnit), Maven, and Gradle - Knowledge and experience in AWS Cloud Platform (or Azure/GCP) and PaaS services - Familiarity with Agile, Clean Code, and TDD methodologies - Collaboration with the development team, architect, product manager, and UX designer - Ability to identify and resolve web API performance issues Enphase Energy is a global energy technology company at the forefront of the clean energy industry.
