Sr Engineer Piping Projects

Role Overview: As a Design Engineer, your role will involve the preparation and review of various engineering drawings and specifications such as plot plans, equipment layouts, piping layouts, and stress calculations. You will also be responsible for coordinating interdisciplinary checks, evaluating expressions of interest, and preparing construction documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review plot plans, equipment layouts, piping layouts, and stress design basis - Review and prepare piping material specifications, valves specifications, and general engineering specifications - Coordinate interdisciplinary checks and evaluations - Evaluate expressions of interest and prepare vendor lists - Review and approve engineering documents and vendor deliverables - Provide construction support, resolve construction queries, and support field engineering - Prepare construction statements of work, bills of quantities, and man-hour estimates Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of relevant ASME, ASTM, API, OISD codes, and standards - Clear understanding of PFDs, P&IDs, process requirements, safety requirements, and constructability aspects - Familiarity with design requirements of pulsating lines and SAP system for PR preparation - B.E / B.Tech Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree - Minimum 6 - 10 years of experience in oil, gas, and/or petrochemical industry projects - Hands-on experience in detailed design, plot plan preparation, budget estimates, and review of engineering deliverables - Experience in interdisciplinary coordination, expediting, field engineering, and construction support (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description),
