Sr. Engineer/ Engineer - II (Perception Systems Testing and Validation)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for requirement analysis for computer vision projects, test data analysis & scenarios designing, scripting and execution, debugging and unit testing, systems integration, and field testing. Additionally, you will capture and detail the outcome of test or script executions and findings needed to support ongoing measurement and reports risks, defects, tests, and coverage to stakeholders. You will perform testing activities as per standard V&V practices and Quality Assurance while maintaining thorough documentation of software artefacts test scripts, test results, defect logging & categorization to expedite resolution. Communication of issues and risks in addition to daily testing status to Team Lead or Test Lead will be a key part of your role. Ensuring timely delivery and quality of the deliverables for the assigned work will also be expected. Key Responsibilities: - Requirement analysis for computer vision projects - Test data analysis & scenarios designing - Scripting and execution - Debugging and unit testing - Systems integration and field testing - Capturing and detailing test or script executions and findings - Reporting risks, defects, tests, and coverage to stakeholders - Performing testing activities following standard V&V practices and Quality Assurance - Maintaining thorough documentation of software artefacts - Communicating issues, risks, and daily testing status to Team Lead or Test Lead - Ensuring timely delivery and quality of deliverables Qualifications Required: - Experience as System engineer/Data science/QA/algorithms evaluation in multi-disciplinary system - Degree or MCA in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, or a Degree in Electrical/Electronics & Communication (or equivalent) with a minimum of 4+ years of experience - Experience of programming in Python/C/C++/Matlab - Experience working in a Linux environment and familiarity with bash scripting - Background in computer vision and machine learning - Experience in designing or testing system level features in Machine Learning based algorithms - Worked in Optics and imaging systems - Experience in Algorithm evaluation and validation processes - Strong QA/QC methodology skills Additional Company Details: The company values good analytical skills, communication, and presentation abilities.
