Job Summary -
Primary objective of position is to work in coordination with Technical Leads on Analytical & Detection project assignments for Embedded Firmware Design and Development, Firmware Design reviews, Functional Testing, Production support, preparing design documentation to maintain desired quality levels set by organization.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :
- Understand and draft firmware application requirement for the projects.
- Work on Embedded Firmware projects as a member of Engineering & Design and Testing teams for new product development, quality improvement and sustaining engineering, in collaboration with Lead Engineers and Technical Leads.
- Perform the project design and development activities, review and get approvals for project artifacts from lead engineers and technical leads.
- Conduct design verification review process. Prepare and review project documentation.
- Report / communicate project progress to collaborators periodically.
- Coordinate Firmware / software development activities.
- Assume additional roles and responsibilities as required.
- Interact with other design team members to meet and optimize product design requirements.

In This Role, You will need :
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics / Instrumentation / Telecommunication / Computers Engineering required.
- 5-8 years proven experience in embedded firmware development
- Must have excellent understanding of Embedded design life cycle, New product development process & experience of working with global teams.
- Strong knowledge of 8 / 16 / 32 bit Microcontrollers
- Strong knowledge of C, C++ programming languages
- Must have experience in device driver development for different Microcontrollers.
- Experience in RTOS based system e. g. UCOS, Threadx, FreeRTOS, MQX
- Experience in industrial protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, Modbus, Ethernet etc.
- Experience in GUI Development and integration of various embedded protocol stacks.
- Familiar with IDEs such as KEIL, IAR, Eclipse etc.
- Experience in Industrial Protocols is an advantage- HART, Ethernet/IP, Fieldbus, Profibus.
- Hands on experience with usage of JTAG debuggers, Emulators, oscilloscopes, function generators etc.
- Cybersecurity and SIS product development experience (e. g, . IEC61508, IEC62443)
- Knowledge and experience with static code analysis tools such as PC-Lint - MISRA - C Std.
- Experience with Linux platform would be a plus.
- Familiar with Azur Devops platform.
Preferred Qualification that Set You Apart:
- Familiar with Agile and traditional software development lifecycle in a product development environment
- Hands on experience with usage of JTAG debuggers, Emulators, oscilloscopes, function generators etc.
- Cybersecurity and SIS product development experience (e. g, . IEC61508, IEC62443)
- Knowledge and experience with static code analysis tools such as PC-Lint - MISRA - C Std.
- Experience with Linux platform would be a plus.
- Familiar with Azur Devops platform.
- Experience with STM32 series microcontroller will be advantage.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as good presentation skills.
