Sr. Developer / Developer II Snowflake

As a Data Transformation Specialist at Cvent, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing data transformation processes using Snowflake. Your responsibilities will include: - Utilizing SQL scripting to implement complex queries and data transformations. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. - Developing, testing, and deploying data models and transformations using dbt Cloud. - Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub, to automate workflows. - Ensuring data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data processes and workflows. - Applying knowledge of data governance and security best practices. - Leading or participating in data migration projects to ensure seamless data transfer and integration. - Utilizing Jira or similar agile systems to manage tasks and collaborate with teams. - Staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Snowflake and data transformation. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting. - Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake. - Experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence. - Familiarity with other data integration tools and platforms. - Proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models is a plus. - Experience with CI/CD processes, preferably using GitHub. - Familiarity with Jira or similar agile systems. - Demonstrated experience in data migration projects. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
