Sr. Developer / Developer II Snowflake

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data transformation processes using Snowflake. Your role will involve utilizing SQL scripting to implement complex queries and data transformations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, and delivering solutions. You will be developing, testing, and deploying data models and transformations using dbt Cloud. Additionally, you will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows and ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data processes and workflows will also be part of your responsibilities. Your knowledge of data governance and security best practices will be crucial, and you may lead or participate in data migration projects. Utilizing Jira or similar agile systems to manage tasks and collaborate with teams will also be expected. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Snowflake and data transformation is essential for this role. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting. - Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake. - Experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence. - Familiarity with other data integration tools and platforms. - Good to have Proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models. - Experience with CI/CD processes, preferably using GitHub. - Familiarity with Jira or similar agile systems. - Demonstrated experience in data migration projects. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.,
