As a Senior Data Tester, your key responsibilities will include: - Leading end-to-end testing of complex ETL workflows, with a specific focus on Ab Initio. - Validating data transformations, integrations, and migrations within Data Warehousing environments. - Designing and executing test cases, test plans, and strategies for Ab Initio and AWS-based data solutions, ensuring adherence to cloud best practices. - Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation. - Performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting issues across Unix-based systems and cloud platforms. - Collaborating with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability. In this role based in Pune, your primary purpose will be to design, develop, and implement testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience. Your accountabilities will include: - Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure quality standards compliance. - Creating and executing automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools for early defect detection. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to acceptance criteria development. - Conducting root cause analysis for identified defects, supporting defect resolution with developers. - Participating in code reviews, promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. - Staying updated on industry technology trends, contributing to technical communities, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and growth.
