As a Data Scientist at BMC, your role will involve helping customers transition into an Autonomous Digital Enterprise through innovative solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering, RAG, LLM Evaluation, and LLM Fine-tuning. - Solid understanding of NLP concepts and familiarity with NLP libraries. - Writing Python backend APIs using Fast API, Flask, or other frameworks. - Knowledge of fine-tuning LLMs including Llama, BERT, and GPT based. - Demonstrating intellectual curiosity and being a self-starter. - Excellent communication skills to explain predictive analytics to non-technical audiences. - Proficiency in machine learning frameworks, data exploration techniques, and observability tools. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as OCP, AWS, Azure, GCP. - Knowledge of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and data visualization techniques. - Experience with Agile methodology and Atlassian products Jira, Confluence. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field with 8 years of Data Science or a related field experience. - Ability to work on multiple Gen AI projects and deliver them end-to-end successfully. - Knowledge of forecasting, predictive modeling, and any Azure or AWS Cloud certification. - Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and DevOps tools. - Familiarization with mainframe knowledge is a plus.
