Sr. Buyer

Role Overview: As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for checking technical requirements against vendor specifications, conducting negotiation with vendors, exploring alternate vendor opportunities, and managing specific items or categories across manufacturing sites or project procurement. Key Responsibilities: - Float enquiries for critical items based on user requirements - Ensure technical requirements from users align with vendor specifications - Conduct a second round of negotiation with vendors and provide details to the buying manager for finalizing deals - Place orders for finalized items and update SAP system accordingly - Address internal and external audit issues related to procurement in a timely manner and assist buyers in resolution Qualification Required: - Education: B. Tech / B E - Experience: 6-9 years in category sourcing and manufacturing Desirable: - Experience in category-based purchasing - Supply management experience in similar plant operations environment Additional Details: You should possess an analytical mindset, strong written and oral communication skills, knowledge of equipment and process/maintenance activities, and commercial acumen to succeed in this role.,
