Sr. Business intelligence (BI) developer

Role Overview: You will be a BI developer at Tesla, working on a state-of-the-art data engineering and analytics platform for business and operation intelligence. Your role will involve analyzing enterprise business data, generating impactful insights, and driving process improvements. You will also be responsible for helping migrate Tableau/PowerBI dashboards to the internal platform, developing high visibility dashboards, writing SQL/Python scripts, creating ETL jobs, and working towards improving the accuracy and performance of analytics AI agents. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze enterprise business data to generate impactful insights - Assist in migrating Tableau/PowerBI dashboards to internal platform - Develop high visibility dashboards to visualize metrics across different business verticals - Write SQL/Python scripts to aggregate and process data from multiple sources - Create ETL jobs to calculate key performance indicators - Improve accuracy and performance of analytics AI agents - Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance the platform Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/masters degree or higher in quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience - 4+ years of work experience in data or business analytics or engineering related field - Expertise in writing SQL and familiarity with multiple database systems like MySQL, Microsoft SQL server, and Presto. Knowledge of Vertica is a plus. - Data visualization expertise with tools like Jupyter notebooks, Tableau, Power BI, or Superset - 2+ years of experience working with Python for data analytics - Knowledge of Javascript is beneficial - Working experience with LLM and GenAI solutions is advantageous - Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns across multiple datasets,
