Sr. Business Intelligence (BI) Developer - Analytics Platform

As a Business Intelligence Developer at Tesla, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of a cutting-edge data engineering and analytics platform aimed at providing business and operational intelligence. Your primary responsibilities include: - Analyzing enterprise business data to derive impactful insights that drive process improvements. - Assisting in the migration of Tableau/PowerBI dashboards to the internal platform by understanding business use cases. - Developing high-visibility dashboards to visualize metrics across various business verticals. - Writing SQL/Python scripts to aggregate and process data from multiple sources. - Creating ETL jobs to calculate key performance indicators. - Enhancing the accuracy and performance of analytics AI agents. - Collaborating with the engineering team to enhance the platform. To qualify for this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Bachelor's/masters degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience demonstrating exceptional ability. - Minimum of 4 years of work experience in data, business analytics, or engineering-related fields. - Proficiency in SQL with familiarity across multiple database systems such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Presto. Knowledge of Vertica is a plus. - Expertise in data visualization tools and techniques like Jupyter notebooks, Tableau, Power BI, or Superset. - At least 2 years of experience working with Python for data analytics. - Familiarity with JavaScript is beneficial. - Working knowledge of LLM and GenAI solutions is advantageous. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns across multiple datasets.
