The Analyst plays a critical role in leading the analysis of complex business processes and requirements and ensuring that solutions are designed and implemented to meet those requirements. They will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured and documented, and that project timelines are being met. The Senior Business Analyst will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts, helping them to develop their skills and abilities. They will be a key member of the Business Solutions Capability, helping to develop and implement standards, methodologies, and tools to improve business analysis practices within the organization.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead the analysis of complex business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement and assist in the design and implementation of solutions.
- Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured and documented, and that solutions are designed and implemented to meet those requirements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts, helping them to develop their skills and abilities.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, use cases, and project plans.
- Create user stories with acceptance criteria and supplement with Mock up.
- Maintain requirement backlog and prioritize with the help of Lead Analyst/Product Owner.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders to gather information, provide updates, and ensure that business requirement timelines are being met.
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines, and work with project teams to mitigate them.
- Participate in functional testing and quality assurance activities, ensuring that business requirements are being met and that solutions are functioning as expected.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in business analysis practices and technologies.
Participate and contribute to BA Practice initiatives and activities.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesQualifications:
- Master's and/or Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead the analysis of complex business processes and requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Experience with business process modelling tools, such as Visio or Lucid chart.
- Experience with wireframe tools, such as Balsamiq, Figma.
- Proficient in MS Office tool including but not limited to MS Word, MS PPT.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in mentoring and providing guidance to junior business analysts
- Must be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a domain.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
