Sr Advanced Software Engr - Rulestream or Tacton

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer with over 8 years of experience in Siemens Rulestream and expertise in integrating with CAD systems such as Siemens NX, AutoCAD, Capital Electra X, and Line Designer. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Rulestream solutions that seamlessly integrate with various CAD platforms to enhance engineering processes and product configurations. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing custom solutions within the Siemens Rulestream environment to meet specific business requirements. You will also integrate Rulestream with CAD systems like Siemens NX, AutoCAD, Capital Electra X, and Line Designer to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency. Utilizing Rulestream, you will automate the generation of CAD models, drawings, and related documentation, and implement rules and logic to drive automated design processes and ensure consistency across engineering outputs. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and IT, you will gather requirements and deliver effective Rulestream solutions. Additionally, you will provide technical support and guidance to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability. Staying updated with the latest developments in Siemens Rulestream and associated CAD systems, you will recommend and implement improvements. Participation in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes will be essential to maintaining high standards of software development. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with Siemens Rulestream or Tacton, including development and customization. Experience in developing rule engines, engineering configurators, system configuration automation tools, or extensive customization and integration experience with engineering configurators and CAD authoring/visualization tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and PLM platforms like Siemens Teamcenter is required. Knowledge of Rulestream, Configit, Configura, Tacton, and Big Machines/OracleCPQ will be beneficial.
