Sr. Advanced Services Engineer

As a member of the Support organization, your primary focus will be to provide post-sales support and solutions to Oracle's customer base, acting as a dedicated advocate for customer needs. Your responsibilities will involve addressing post-sales non-technical customer inquiries through phone and electronic channels, as well as handling technical queries related to the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. You will play a key role as a primary point of contact for customers, facilitating customer relationships with Support and offering guidance to internal Oracle employees on various customer scenarios and escalated issues. In the role of a Senior Systems Engineer, you will engage regularly with the customer's IT staff, either onsite at the client's location or remotely. Your core responsibility will be to resolve moderately complex technical issues concerning the installation, recommended maintenance, usage, and repair/workarounds for Oracle products. You are expected to possess a high level of experience with specific Oracle products and multiple platforms currently supported. Working with minimal supervision from management, you will provide insights to management on the progress and status of your tasks. Your job duties will be diverse and challenging, requiring independent judgment. You may also lead projects as part of your role. Due to the significant customer interaction involved, it is crucial to demonstrate the ability to work independently with customers, exhibit exceptional communication skills, and consistently deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred, along with at least five years of related experience. Proficiency in Oracle's core products, applications, and tools will be a valuable asset in this position. This role is classified at Career Level IC3.,
