Sr. Accountant Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in India. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting our strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support financial planning processes.
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and answering inquiries from auditors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting standards.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances to inform management decisions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA) is preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a demonstrated understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
