SQL & SSIS Developer

As an experienced SQL & SSIS Developer with expertise in database development, ETL processes, and Azure Data Factory (ADF), you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Developing, optimizing, and maintaining T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions for large-scale data operations. - Performing SQL performance tuning using execution plans, SQL Profiler, and indexing strategies. - Designing and implementing SSIS packages for ETL processes including data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources (CSV, Excel, flat files, databases). - Utilizing SSIS transformations like Lookup, Derived Column, Conditional Split, Aggregate, and others for complex data workflows. - Building and managing Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for data ingestion and integration (batch and real-time). - Working with Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Key Vault, and ADF triggers to orchestrate and automate data workflows. - Handling job monitoring, production support, and deployment execution to ensure high availability and performance. - Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and resolving tickets using tools like JIRA. - Communicating effectively with stakeholders, reporting progress, and ensuring timely delivery of tasks. Qualifications required for this role include: - 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server development and SSIS-based ETL solutions. - Strong command of T-SQL, database design, and query optimization techniques. - Practical experience with SSIS package development, deployment, and troubleshooting. - Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipeline design, parameterization, scheduling, and monitoring. - Exposure to Azure Logic Apps, Functions, and Key Vault integration. - Experience with production support, ticketing systems (JIRA/ServiceNow), and deployment activities. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile, fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications for this role may include experience with data warehousing concepts, cloud data integration, or Power BI as well as knowledge of CI/CD processes for data pipelines. Microsoft certifications in SQL Server or Azure Data Engineering are considered a plus. This is a full-time position that requires in-person work.
