Job Description Software Engineer (DB) Department: Development Development Job Band: L2 Location: Bangalore (5 Days WFO) Job Purpose: The purpose of this role includes development and testing of SQL Procedures and functions. Responsibilities: • Writing complex SQL Queries from the scratch till test scripts • Creating tables, views, triggers, stored procedures and functions with good command over MS-SQL. • Design database tables, views, indexes and functions • Query optimizations for performance improvement • Writing the test cases for internal testing Key Performance Indicators (KPI): SL KPI Target Measurement Frequency Weightage 1 SLA% 90% Monthly/Quarterly 30 2 Quality of the 95% Monthly/Quarterly 30 Development 3 Technical Skills 90% Half Yearly 20 4 Functional Skills 90% Half Yearly 20 Skills and Competencies: • Strong knowledge in MSSQL Core Programming. • Experience on MICROSOFT SQL SERVER 2008/2012 and above • Hands on experience with SQL Server and T-SQL in creating Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Tables, Views, Indexes, Table variables, Temp tables, CTE. • Hands on experience on developing joins, Ranking Functions, Sub Queries, XML • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills • Good knowledge on Query optimizations • TFS (Optional) • Experience on Crystal reports, SSRS (Optional) • knowledge -Banking Domain (Optional) Educational Qualifications: • Bachelors Engineering / Master of Technology • Masters in Computer Application Professional Certification: • SQL Certification (optional) Required Experience: • 2 4 Years Job Path / Career Progression: • Post successful completion of 2 Years in this role, Software Engineer is eligible to apply for the following internal profiles, o Senior Software Engineer o Senior Business Analyst o Senior Consultant Implementation
