Role & responsibilities Provide L2/L3 technical support for all hospital applications, ensuring minimal downtime and fast issue resolution. Troubleshoot and resolve application/database-related incidents reported by clinical and non-clinical users. Work closely with application vendor and internal IT teams for issue escalation and application patch management. Perform regular MS SQL database health checks , backups, optimization, and performance tuning. Write and maintain SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures for data extraction and reporting. Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for application upgrades and deployments. Maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting steps. Knowledge and Specific Skills Proficient in MS SQL Server : T-SQL, SSMS, database administration, query optimization. Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems like HIS, EMR, LIS, RIS, or PACS. Ability to troubleshoot application issues at both front-end and back-end levels. Strong communication skills and ability to support clinical and non-technical users. Ability to work in a 24x7 environment, including on-call support if needed.
