Job Summary
SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA
.Key Responsibilities
- :Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases (2016 and above) in both on-prem and Azure environment
- sEnsure database availability, performance, integrity, and securit
- yPerform regular maintenance tasks such as backups, indexing, and patchin
- gMonitor system health and performance, using tools such as SQL Server Profiler, DMVs, and third-party solution
- sManage and support disaster recovery and high availability solutions (e.g., AlwaysOn, Failover Clustering, Log Shipping
- )Develop and maintain documentation including data models, configurations, and processe
- sTroubleshoot database issues, performance bottlenecks, and T-SQL cod
- eCollaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to support application need
- sMigrate and modernize SQL Server workloads to Azure where appropriat
- eUtilize Azure offerings such as Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Azure Data Factor
- yImplement security best practices including encryption, auditing, and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control
- )Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or other scripting language

sRequired Qualifications
- :5+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DB
