Job Summary
  • 8-10 years of functional and non-functional testing experience in complex projects, with knowledge on automation framework creation.
  • Solid knowledge of core JAVA, Java Script, SQL, Shell scripting and Hands-on experience with following automated build/testing tools
o Selenium
o Cucumber o BDD (JBehave) o Gherkin o XML o Cypress o API Automation (Rest Assured) o GIT o JIRA/Confluence
  • Agile Methodology Exposure
  • Good exposure on Database testing concepts
  • Familiar with DevOps CI/CD (Jenkins/Groovy)
  • Good understanding of Java/JEE tech stack based applications
  • Integration technology expertise – API, FTP, WebSerices & Messaging
  • Banking or Financial service industry experience
Good to have
  • Exposure to automated testing on microservices architecture
  • Understanding of cloud computing solutions

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities within a scrum when working with Agile teams
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source and/or relevant tools
  • Test data/Environment setup in-coordination with upstream/downstream teams
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products/application to meet client needs
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities, test coverage and open defect counts
  • Create and maintain relevant documents as required by SCB SDLC control process
