We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in building and deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Python libraries (Pandas, DataFrames, DuckDB) and proven experience working with Azure services such as Function Apps, Cosmos DB, APIM, Web Apps, and containerized deployments. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services. Work extensively with Pandas, DataFrames, and DuckDB for high-performance data processing. Deploy, manage, and optimize containers, Function Apps, Web Apps, and Cosmos DB on Azure. Configure and manage API Management (APIM) for secure and scalable API exposure. Implement JWT-based authentication and ensure application-level security best practices. Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and reliability. Write clean, scalable, and reusable code following best practices. Document architecture, design patterns, and technical workflows. Required Skills & Experience Required Skills & ExperienceCore Expertise: Python programming with strong knowledge of Pandas, DataFrames, DuckDB, and related libraries. Azure Experience: Proven experience with Function Apps, Cosmos DB, Web Apps, API Management (APIM), and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes). Strong understanding of cloud security principles and JWT-based authentication. Experience integrating and managing data services on Azure. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Azure Developer Associate / Architect certification.
