Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (Speech Therapist)

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing treatment to patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. The role is particularly focused on patients undergoing rehabilitation, including those recovering from neurological conditions, strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in both inpatients and outpatients.
• Develop individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and nursing staff.
• Conduct regular therapy sessions and monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on communication strategies and swallowing safety techniques.
• Provide training and guidance to staff regarding communication techniques and patient interaction.
• Maintain thorough clinical records and contribute to the preparation of patient care reports.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings for holistic patient care planning.
• Stay informed about latest research, methods, and advancements in speech-language pathology, particularly in neurorehabilitation and geriatric speech care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech Therapy or equivalent.
• Registered with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) or equivalent statutory body (as per regulations).
• Freshers with clinical internship can apply.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; experience in rehabilitation or neurological/geriatric care is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Salary:

As per industry standards / Negotiable
