Speech Language Pathologist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join at CHMRI Rehabilitation center Located in Embate Near Pariyaram medical college, Kannur. In this role, you will work with patients of all ages, focusing on diagnosing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing effective therapy and support to enhance the quality of life for individuals facing these challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early intervention, pediatrics, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills.
• Collaborate with educators, medical professionals, and family members to support patient progress.
• Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Provide education and resources to patients and families regarding speech therapy techniques.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Experience

• degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is required.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Experience in early intervention programs is preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to speech therapy.
• Familiarity with pediatric care practices and assessment techniques is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
