Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role as a Speech Language Pathologist (Therapist) located in Lucknow with ISF- Autism Care. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders in patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Daily tasks include providing one-on-one therapy sessions, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and keeping detailed records of patient progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/ Diploma degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Experience in diagnosing and treating communication and swallowing disorders in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Experience in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients and recording detailed progress notes.
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience is desirable.

Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• SLPs work directly with clients to assess and treat communication and speech disorders.

Clinical skills include conducting assessments, diagnosing disorders, and implementing therapy or intervention plans.

• Active listening is crucial for understanding a client's communication difficulties and concerns. SLPs must pay close attention to verbal and nonverbal cues to make accurate assessments.
• Maintaining accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress is essential for tracking a client's development and ensuring continuity of care.Freshers can also apply!

Speech therapist requires a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and therapeutic techniques in the field of speech-language pathology. Some specialized areas, such as working with children with autism or individuals with voice disorders, to enhance their skill set further.
