In partnership with Arcadis offices globally, the Global Excellence Centre (GEC) is seeking a highly organized individual to join their team remotely from the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and completion of assigned tasks and projects within the Business Unit or project team. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, enhancing your skills and technical knowledge. Additionally, personal development opportunities will be provided to progress your career and be mentored by industry-recognized Technical Leaders. Key responsibilities include undertaking ecological desk studies, high-level environmental constraints studies, collating data for ecological appraisals, assisting with bid production, license applications, and participating in training for best practices and survey standards. Experience in Ecological Consultancy or conservation field is essential, along with collaborative communication skills. Role accountabilities involve writing ecological reports, demonstrating understanding of environmental legislation, identifying taxa/species, conducting ecological surveys, and ensuring adherence to biosecurity and health and safety protocols. Proficiency in ArcGIS/bat analysis software, basic AutoCAD knowledge, and proficiency in a foreign language would be beneficial. Qualifications & Experience: - Minimum qualification of Masters in Zoology/Ecology/Conservation Biology or relevant field, preference for Ph.D. holders - Membership in a Professional Body e.g., CIEEM or equivalent organization is desirable - Minimum 4 years of professional experience required Joining Arcadis means contributing to sustainable solutions for a more prosperous planet and creating a lasting legacy.
