Overview
To assist the project controls team in developing reports and analyzing data. Must be proficient in Microsoft tools and fluent in Primavera P6 and Power BI.
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain master project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 / MS Project.
- Establish Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and detailed schedules using CPM/PERT.
- Integrate engineering, procurement, and construction activities into a unified schedule.
Progress Monitoring & Control
- Track progress against baseline schedules and KPIs.
- Perform schedule variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare recovery schedules and time impact analysis for delays.
Reporting & Documentation
- Issue weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and productivity data.
- Prepare graphs, charts, and exhibits for client and management review.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with engineering, procurement, construction teams, and subcontractors.
- Participate in project review meetings and client presentations.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to Indian labour laws, EPC contract terms, and company policies.
- Maintain quality standards and safety compliance throughout project lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil/mechanical/electrical engineering.
- Experience: 512 years in project planning and controls within EPC projects.
- Certifications like PMP, PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) preferred
- Technical Tools: Primavera P6, MS Project, Ecosystem EPC, Ares Prism, SAP.
- Data Analysis: Power BI, Tableau, Excel VBA for dashboards and automation.
- Project Management Techniques: Earned Value Management (EVM), Critical Path Method (CPM).
- Domain Knowledge: EPC lifecycle (FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
