Job Description

The Specialist, Issuer Rewards is responsible for providing designs specifications and developing new products and services or their components. They define functional and technical requirements, research new technologies, and analyze competitive products to generate innovative product ideas. This role involves participating in the development of new products and product enhancements by performing assigned tasks in the product development life cycle. The Specialist compiles information on market trends, competitive landscape, and new product opportunities to support the definition of product requirements and specifications. Additionally, the Specialist supports product launches and implementations, contributes to the execution of product marketing programs, and prepares reports and presentations as directed. They possess a broad knowledge of product development functions and demonstrate the ability to multitask, establish priorities, and work independently. Strong organizational and project management skills are essential, along with solid verbal and written communication abilities. The Specialist should be capable of understanding and analyzing financial information, interacting effectively with colleagues, and collaborating with internal and external business partners. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a background in product development. They should have a basic understanding of general product development concepts and practices. The role may require some domestic and international travel. As a part of Mastercard, the Specialist is expected to adhere to the organization's security policies and practices, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of information accessed. Reporting any suspected information security violations or breaches and completing mandatory security trainings are essential responsibilities in this role. Overall, the Specialist, Issuer Rewards plays a pivotal role in developing new products and enhancing existing ones, contributing to product launches and marketing efforts, and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet business objectives effectively.,
