Job Description

As a Senior Technical Lead / Associate Architect with 8-12 years of experience, your role involves designing, developing, and implementing scalable and maintainable software solutions. You will lead and mentor development teams, drive hands-on development using Java or Node.js, and guide the team on design patterns and performance optimization. Additionally, you will own and contribute to the low-level design and architecture of business-critical applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, fault-tolerance, and security. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and mentor development teams in delivering scalable, efficient, and high-quality solutions. - Drive hands-on development using Java or Node.js with modern frameworks and tools. - Guide the team on design patterns, modular code practices, and performance optimization. - Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure adherence to engineering standards. - Own and contribute to the low-level design and architecture of business-critical applications. - Ensure design decisions reflect scalability, maintainability, fault-tolerance, and security. - Translate business requirements into architectural and implementation plans. - Design and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS or Azure using containers, microservices, and serverless frameworks. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure. - Apply security best practices in software development and cloud deployment. - Work in Agile teams following Scrum or Kanban methodologies. - Promote test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD automation, and incremental releases. - Contribute to sprint planning, estimations, retrospectives, and demos. - Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders for requirement analysis. - Provide technical feasibility and implementation options to meet business needs. - Mentor junior developers to foster technical growth and career advancement. - Conduct technical interviews and assessments for new developer hires. - Uphold and evolve coding standards, architecture guidelines, and software processes. - Contribute to documentation, knowledge bases, and internal learning resources. - Drive automation of repetitive or manual engineering tasks. **Qualifications Required:** - 8-12 years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in Java or Node.js. - Expertise in cloud platforms AWS or Azure (serverless, Kubernetes, containers). - Experience with architecture patterns: SOA, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture. - Strong understanding of CI/CD tools, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices. - Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling. - Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban). - Ability to conduct system design reviews, identify technical risks, and propose mitigation. - Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills. Please note that exposure to front-end frameworks like React or Angular, experience with API Gateways, Kafka/RabbitMQ, event-driven systems, knowledge of security practices, compliance standards, and threat modeling, as well as prior experience in regulated industries are considered good-to-have skills. Contributions to open-source projects, tech blogs, or internal knowledge sharing assets are also valued.,
