Job Description

You will be responsible for developing and promoting technical solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Your role involves supporting business requirements within your area of expertise, ensuring IT requirements are met and service quality is maintained when introducing new services. You will be expected to set FAST goals, provide feedback to mentees, and demonstrate innovation and technical proficiency in project analysis. Upholding standards and best practices, you will review and monitor work to ensure adherence to these guidelines. Additionally, you will contribute innovative ideas for automating repetitive tasks and mentor developers to help them progress in their growth. Your performance will be measured based on adherence to engineering processes and standards, productivity standards, schedule adherence, completion of mandatory trainings/certifications, innovativeness, maintenance of quality standards, technical issue identification, defect management, compliance with policies and processes, and timely completion of compliance trainings. Your responsibilities will include independently developing code, configuring and monitoring processes, creating and reviewing unit test cases, achieving 100% code coverage for unit testing, signing off on templates and deliverable documents, creating design documentation, developing design architecture, influencing customer thought processes, contributing to module level development, managing project knowledge, and assisting in resolving complex technical problems. In addition to technical skills such as proactive problem-solving, estimating project effort, test result evaluation, and creating technical presentations, you should possess strong knowledge in technology stacks, programming languages, DBMS, operating systems, SDLC, IDEs, Agile/Scrum/Kanban methods, cloud platforms, and architecting solutions on cloud-based infrastructures. The ideal candidate for this Lead Software Engineer position should have over 10 years of hands-on development experience, proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming, and a deep understanding of modern backend architecture. Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services and APIs, championing best practices, driving architecture decisions, collaborating cross-functionally, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, mentoring engineering teams, ensuring software quality, and effective communication with stakeholders. Key qualifications include 10+ years of software engineering experience, strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming, experience with RESTful APIs, proficiency in Java or Kotlin, knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms, hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.,
