Role Overview: As a Business/Work Visa Processor at Wipro, your role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders such as business, HR, and finance, as well as external agents like travel agents and immigration authorities to ensure timely processing of visa applications for all employees. Key Responsibilities: - Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements related to immigration globally - Execute the Global Immigration Policy set by Wipro - Understand the specific legal and regulatory requirements for each country to gather necessary documents for processing business visas/work permits - Coordinate with internal finance and HR teams for required documents like application fee and cover letters - Review documents for accuracy with employees - Process visa applications internally following the visa documents review checklist - Liaise with travel agents/immigration authorities for processing visas - Coordinate with agents/immigration authorities to file employee visa applications - Respond to queries from immigration authorities by gathering requested documents/information - Conduct regular follow-ups with agents and authorities, updating business/employees - Ensure Operational Excellence - Adhere to timelines issued by immigration authorities and submit applications on time - Follow established service level agreements for global immigration processes - Identify improvements in current immigration management processes/systems by gathering feedback - Create MIS reports to track the status of visa applications Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of global immigration laws and regulations - Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders - Ability to manage timelines and adhere to service level agreements - Proactive in suggesting process improvements and implementing automation - Proficiency in creating MIS reports for tracking purposes About the Company: Wipro Limited is a leading technology services and consulting company dedicated to developing innovative solutions for clients" digital transformation needs.
