Specialist - Business Development And Strategy

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who understands healthcare data and can leverage the data to build algorithms to personalize treatments based on the clinical and behavioral history of patients. We are looking for a superstar who will define and build the next generation of predictive analytics tools in healthcare.

A Day in the Life

• Collaborate with Healthcare SMEs to understand business and data requirements and translate into technical specifications for data loads/ analytics and identify product gaps.
• Perform data discovery, analysis and profiling of source system data and perform logical mapping of source data into target data warehouse models, based on the existing business process and data/reporting requirements.
• Quantitatively analyze rich data from payers ( e.g claims, attribution, etc), providers, and other third party sources such as databases, csv s, XML s to uncover useful business insights and deliver through models, reports, visualizations, etc
• Handle incoming data, validate it to ensure usability, map it to platform specifications and perform verification on the same.
• Work towards creating easy-to-digest analytical reports for US healthcare customers
• Collaborate with key stakeholders on how to best leverage data & analytics to inform better business decisions and operations
• Understand the decision-making process, workflows, and business and information needs of our analytic teams
• Understand Innovaccer data warehousing concepts and recommend best practices to collect/analyze/ visualize data with technology solutions
• Proactively mine data warehouses to identify trends and patterns and generate insights for delivery teams and customers.

What You Need

• 3+ years in an analytics role in data services/product firm
• Prior experience performing data discovery, analysis, and profiling of data from various sources e.g CSV, XML s, etc
• Data modeling ability - knowledge of different data modeling concepts
• Strong knowledge of SQL, scripting languages (Groovy/JavaScript/Python)
• Exposure to Python Libraries - Numpy, Scipy, Scikit-Learn
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau/Sisense, etc
• Hands on experience in creating statistical models; Understanding of when to use which model to better fit the data
• Self-starter, curious, accountable, enjoys a healthy level of autonomy, strong work ethic, able to succeed in a fast-paced, high-intensity startup environment
• Extensive experience relaying technical and non-technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Demonstrated expert problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellence in multitasking and managing multiple high-priority customer engagements at once
• Ability to assess complex client environments and workflows and arrive at integration solutions that will satisfy seamless experience between our platform and theirs
• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science. Advanced degree in any of the areas above would be a plus
