• Setting measurable goals and monitoring progress regularly.
• Providing Specialized Instruction
• Adapting curriculum and teaching strategies to suit diverse learning abilities.
• Using assistive technology and alternative teaching methods to enhance learning.
• Supporting Social and Emotional Development
• Helping students develop essential life skills, self-confidence, and independence.
• Addressing behavioral challenges with positive reinforcement strategies.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders
• Working closely with general educators, school counselors, therapists, and parents.
• Conducting meetings to discuss progress and necessary adjustments in teaching methods.
• Classroom and Behavior Management
• Creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Implementing behavior intervention plans when needed.
• Advocating for Students
• Ensuring students receive appropriate accommodations and support services.
• Raising awareness about special education needs among school staff and families.
• Maintaining Records and Compliance
• Documenting student progress, challenges, and adjustments in the learning plan.
• Ensuring compliance with educational policies and special education regulations.
