Special Educator

Health Basix is looking for a special educator who can work in a school setting.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Special Educator:

• Diploma or B. Ed or Masters in Special Education courses are mandatory.
• Identify the learning and adaptive functioning issues the students face during school hours.
• Conduct a formal or informal assessment to understand the academic and behavioral functioning of the students during school hours.
• Plan and develop I.E.P.s with parents and concerned subject teachers for students.
• Work with students based on the I.E.P. developed by you.
• Refer students for formal assessments outside the school in case of requirement.
• Conduct workshops, on request by the school, on topics related to inclusion and education for students with special needs.
• Have parent meetings to discuss the progress and current functioning of the students.
• Discuss the student's progress with the concerned class and subject teachers.

Qualifications: B. Ed in Special Education, M. Ed In Special Education, RCI Diploma in Special Education

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
