Job Description

Job Opening: RCI Certified Special Educator Location: Chettinad - Sath Sadhana, A Learning Centre for Individuals with Neurodevelopmental Difficulties. We are looking for an RCI Certified Special Educator to work with individuals aged 11-16 years . Freshers can apply! Key Responsibilities: Facilitate life-skills education by using available structured curriculum and plan personalised lessons. Apply structured behavioural strategies to enhance learners' social-emotional awareness. Consistently record the progress of learners and maintain relevant documents. Support vocational training and daily learning activities. Contribute towards maintaining a safe, encouraging, and respectful learning environment. Participate in parent meetings, team discussions, and professional development programs. Collaborate across teams and participate in networking events. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors/Masters degree in Special Education or related field. Certificate in Special Education or Vocational Education recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is Mandatory. Strong understanding of vocational education practices. Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills. Knowledge of alternative assessments, assistive tools, and behavioral strategies. Knowledge of MS Office (documentation). Knowledge of art, photography, or multimedia a plus.
