Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Special Educator with a strong understanding of disabilities and their impact on learning and behavior.

Responsibilities

• Work with students, parents and other teachers to create Individualized Education Plans (IEP)
• Understand the needs of the students with learning disabilities and accordingly prepare curriculum for them
• Asses the students’ academic and social skills and monitor their progress
• Communicate with students, parents, and other professionals regarding student’s progress.
• Create a positive learning environment that meets the needs of the students.

Required Qualifications Educational:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• State certification or licensure for special education (as applicable)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Work Experience: 3+ years’ experience working with children with learning disabilities in a reputed school
