Role Description This is a full-time Commission Sales Associate role. The Sales Associate will be responsible for identifying and connecting with potential clients, presenting and selling our professional journal and other publication services, negotiating contracts, and maintaining customer relationships. The role involves achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the company. This is an on-site role located in the Greater Kolkata Area. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Commission Sales Associate located in the Greater Kolkata Area. The role entails building strong relationships with industry clients, identifying sales opportunities, and promoting SERC’s publications and services to prospective customers. Responsibilities include managing client accounts, reaching monthly and quarterly sales goals, coordinating with the editorial team, conducting market research, and representing the organization at industry events to expand its network and influence. Qualifications Effective sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop long-term client relationships. Strong verbal communication, persuasion, and public speaking abilities. An understanding of marketing strategies, including lead generation and market research methodologies. Basic knowledge of the steel and allied industries is highly desirable. Proficiency in using digital tools and basic CRM systems to manage client interactions effectively. An entrepreneurial mindset, motivated to work independently and meet performance targets. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred.
