An Automobile Spare Parts Incharge manages inventory, orders parts, handles customer service, supervises staff, and ensures efficient operations for profitability, focusing on maintaining optimal stock, coordinating with suppliers/service teams, and accurate record-keeping using software to minimize downtime and meet sales goals for dealerships or service centers. Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Monitor stock, forecast needs, receive/inspect parts, label items, and use software for accuracy, ensuring optimal levels.
• Ordering & Procurement: Place stock orders, manage special orders, coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery, and ensure quality.
• Sales & Customer Service: Assist customers (internal/external) in finding parts, process orders, provide expert advice, and handle parts sales for profit.
• Staff Supervision: Hire, train, schedule, and manage parts department staff to ensure high-quality service.
• Operations & Reporting: Oversee daily reports (sales, productivity), maintain a clean/organized store, and analyze operations for efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with service and body shop managers for parts availability to ensure quick vehicle turnaround.

Essential Skills:

• Strong organization, time management, and communication.
• Proficiency with inventory management software.
• Negotiation and customer service skills.
• Understanding of cost management and procurement strategies.

Typical Experience:

• Often requires a high school diploma; experience is valued over formal degrees.
• Experience in automotive parts or similar retail/warehouse environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
